2nd Financial Summit of Investment & Financing and ESG for Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy Industries
& New Energy RWA Summit
Date: Saturday, 11 October 2025
Room: Meeting Area E3-375, Shanghai New Int’l Expo Center
Time: 09:30-16:00
As the 14th Five-Year Plan concludes and the 15th Five-Year Plan begins, against the backdrop of an accelerating global energy transition and the deepening advancement of the “dual-carbon” goals, energy storage and hydrogen, as the core pillars of the emerging energy system, are entering an unprecedented period of strategic opportunity. Centered on building a new energy framework, advancing a new-generation power system, and achieving dual-carbon targets, the core logic of investment and financing in 2025 has shifted from “scale expansion” to a threefold validation of technology, cost, and application scenarios. In the coming five years, ESG practices will provide the foundation, driving financial innovation and enabling sustainable growth. Investors must precisely position themselves in terms of technological barriers, closed-loop application scenarios, and internationalization capabilities in order to capture long-term value amid industry differentiation. Within this new context, and in line with the spirit of the Notice on Deepening Market-Oriented Reform of Renewable Energy Grid Tariffs to Promote High-Quality Development of Renewable Energy, this Financial Summit is themed: Breaking Technological Boundaries and Capital Synergy: Building a New Financial Ecosystem for Energy Storage and Hydrogen.
The Summit will focus on technology commercialization, capital collaboration, and global expansion. Through a three-tier approach—policy interpretation, technology showcases, and capital matchmaking—it will foster a sustainable ecosystem of innovation, investment, and application. Leaders from various fields such as government, industry, academia, research, and finance will be invited, alongside the China National Institute of Standardization, domestic and international industry associations, relevant units of State Grid, research and analysis institutions, leading enterprises in energy storage and hydrogen energy industry, and senior analysts from financial and crowdfunding institutions. Together, they will explore new development pathways and investment and financing characteristics for energy storage and hydrogen, grasp industry trends and opportunities, design sound investment strategies, and promote the orderly, sustainable, and high-quality development of the sector.
